Many of us have heard of antioxidants, but not everyone knows what they are or how they fit into a well-balanced diet. In this brief, 2-part podcast, PepsiCo nutritionist Joy Dubost, a registered dietitian with a PhD in food science and nutrition, dives into the research around antioxidants, including:

  • Why antioxidants are so good for you – and what are the best sources in the diet
  • How consuming a variety of antioxidants benefit your overall health
  • If processed foods contain antioxidants

Thanks to Joy for her insights and facts about this important topic.  Please be sure to return the Food Frontiers blog on the Health and Wellness section of PepsiCo.com for other updates, information and podcasts in the future – and please leave us comments and feedback! Thanks again.
